How good would Boise State be in a power conference?
BSU fans are always complaining about how they don't get into the national championship, and how hey could go 12-0 in a power conference. I don't think so, but I wanted to get some other opinions. How well would Boise State's FB team do if they were in a BCS conference in the coming 2011-2012 season. Provide Win-Lose for each of these divisions/conferences.

ACC: 12-0 or 11-1 depending on where certain games are played. Their only tough games would be on the road against Florida State or Virigina Tech, and Tech can't beat good teams.
Big East: 12-0. No team in that conference has really stepped up since Rich Rod left West Virginia. Only school that would give them competition would be TCU, when they would join.
Big 10 (now 12): Anywhere between 8-4 and 10-2. Most of the power conferences will not only be about who you play (since your not guaranteed to play everyone), but where you play. Schools like Iowa, Illinois, or Northwestern, even in bad years, are tough to beat at home.
Big 12 (now 10): 9-3 or 10-2. Much like I said about the Big 10, who and where you play. The difference is, is that the Big 12 (now 10) has a huge difference between the top of that conference and its bottom. It more resembles 1 of the smaller conferences now. Toughest games would be with Texas, Texas A&M, and the 2 Oklahoma schools.
Pac-12: 8-4 or 12-0. A little different, because the conference as a whole plays a number of different styles of both offense and defense. So unlike the Big 10 (now 12) and the SEC, you won't see a whole lot of the same thing from both sides of the ball, and the only school to have any kind of home field is Oregon. Boise State could do really well, or get tripped up because they will not be able to use the same/similar gameplans week to week.
SEC: 9-3 or 10-2. Very much like the Big 10 (now 12), in that it depends on who you play, and where you play, i.e. South Carolina or Miss. State would be a tough road game for Boise, however notsomuch if those games were played in Boise. Also depends on who you play, tough if you get LSU, Alabama, and Florida in the same year, and a cakewalk if you get Kentucky, Vanderbilt, and Ole Miss in the same year. Add to that, Boise State's offensive schemes would cause a lot of problems in the SEC, since the only other passing team is Arkansas.
