The Best Fitting Custom Dress Shirt for Tall and Big Man
At 6 foot 7 inches tall, he frequented the tall and big dress shirt departments of local retailers in Utah, West Jordan. But even when the size seemed right, the appearance was all wrong.
I would go to Nordstrom's or some other shop and tell the clerk my neck size and sleeve length, 16 and a half neck and 37 sleeves, and I'd always have trouble with the shirt. I'm a skinny being, and the shirts were not made for people for me, so either the sleeves were too short or the neck was too big. And the shirt was always baggy in the body. I started to think that bad fit was just par for the course," shrugs James. "It got to the point where I really did not care. I was not very picky".
As a church leader and a father of three, though, James Farrell felt an increasing need to ensure his appearance matched his growing responsibilities.
I have never been this much concerned about what other people think, but in this case it came down to something bigger than me; my religion. When it had to do with my church passion, I felt it was vital to appear my best possible and to set a good example," explains James.
Desperate for a better answer, he turned to the Internet. Someplace out there, he reasoned had to be great valued, price and good looking shirts for tall and big men who were more tall than big. The choice of custom made clothing never occurred to him. It sounded too expensive and hard.

"I think the conditions I put in the search engine were something like, 'nicest, cheapest dress shirt' or something similar to it. I do not remember how many links it goes back, but one of them was Fit Custom Shirts. When l glanced at the site, I thought the prices were really good. So I without any delay evaluate them against 5 other online shops that had tall and big men's shirts".
James Farrell shared the news with his wife, who did her own online contrasting shopping. The result, says James was that she was glad as well "She enjoyed the fact that she did not have to go buy them. And when she saw the price, she thought I should go ahead and do it. Frankly, at that point I was tired and sick of spending so much time comparing everything. I figured I would just order the shirts and see what will happen recall James.
James Farrell first custom made shirt indoor within days. He enjoyed the feel and appearance, but still was not totally satisfied with the fit. So he called an expert of customer service and explained the difficulty.
"I told him this was my first custom tailored shirt and it appeared to pull crosswise the back when I stroked my elbows together in front. I did not know how much more space it required, but they put me in touch with specialized designer of fit custom shirts and he told me how he thought the shirt could be changed. He also spoke to me about some of the other little things I might like," says James.

"This time, I just wanted white shirts. Now that I have all the white shirts I want, I would like to add some cool colors. I love blue, grey and may even want to get a maroon shirt" remarks James Farrell.
